No Stress, No Lines

Traveling through Palm Springs International Airport sets the tone for your productive meeting or relaxing vacation in Greater Palm Springs. Passengers exchange the long lines and wait times at most airports for a relaxing open-air stroll along outdoor walkways and lushly landscaped courtyards with gardens, water features and original artwork.

In fact, PSP’s tranquil environment is just one of the reasons why Palm Springs International Airport was named one of the “Top 10 Most Stress-Free Airports in America” by SmarterTraveler.com.

Of course, peak season and holiday travel can impact travel times, so it is highly recommended to arrive at least 90 minutes early to allow for parking, ticketing and screening.

"I look forward to arriving at the Palm Springs airport. There is something special about the moment that I step out of the gate area and out into the clean desert air. The view is spectacular and I can feel the stress just dropping off of me. Within 5 minutes, I've got my luggage and am on my way. It doesn't get much easier!"

REAL ID

On October 1, 2020, if you’re an American above the age of 18 and traveling by air within the U.S., whether it’s for business or leisure, you will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or another acceptable form of ID to get through air travel security checkpoints and board your flight. REAL ID driver’s licenses are generally marked with a star in the upper corner of the card.

Some states (including MI, MN, NY, VT and WA) are issuing enhanced driver’s licenses either instead of or in addition to REAL IDs. These are generally marked with a U.S. flag. We encourage you to check with your DMV for specific details on how to obtain a REAL ID compliant or enhanced driver’s license.
