Country singer Cam seeks out farmer’s markets everywhere she travels, and Greater Palm Springs is no exception.
“California farmer’s markets are especially cool with so much fresh produce and agriculture,” Cam said on her recent visit to La Quinta’s Certified Farmer’s Market.
Farmer’s Market Finds in Greater Palm Springs
The stalls of the outdoor market line the village streets of charming Old Town La Quinta, from October through May, offering produce, herbs, honey, flowers and much more—a large amount of it straight from the Coachella Valley’s agricultural fields, just a few miles away.
Something for Everyone
Staying at the historic La Quinta Resort & Club, nestled at the base of the majestic Santa Rosa Mountains, rewarded Cam with more “gifts” courtesy of Mother Nature.
“La Quinta Resort was insane,” Cam said. “Just sitting on my balcony watching the sun on the mountains (was amazing). Everyone can enjoy something here. You can get spa treatments, hike and horseback ride. It is a spa oasis.”
An Oasis of Relaxation
Strolling farmer’s markets and sinking into her own little oasis of relaxation and beauty is a priority for Cam, especially with her busy touring schedule and need to stay healthy. And, it is one of the main reasons she loves to retreat to Greater Palm Springs.
“There is something about this area that clears the mind and inspires you,” said the singer. “People go home refreshed.”
