Planners seeking unique venues for group dining experiences will be captivated at the myriad choices the Greater Palm Springs Area offers. Here are a few to whet your appetite:

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

Host a dining experience unlike any other at 8,516 feet above sea level. Hop aboard the tramway and head to the top of the San Jacinto Mountains, where daytime brings enchanting desert vistas and nighttime ensures thousands of twinkling city lights below. Peaks Restaurant, located on the upper floor of the Mountain Station, can host banquets for 150 to 275 guests, the Culver Nicholas Room holds 24 and overlooks the state park and wilderness area, and the Francis Crocker Room boasts a fireplace and accommodates 25 to 136 guests.

Empire Polo Grounds

Even if your guests don’t know a mallet from a chukka, you can still book a spectacular event on these magnificent polo grounds. Choose from three unique venues including Medjool Lake, a tropical oasis that features palm trees, flowers and footbridges and offers permanent, peaked tents with stone flooring; Hacienda del Toro, a California-casual setting with three acres of landscaped gardens and a bird aviary; or the Rose Garden, a 5,000 sq. ft. climate controlled pavilion in the center of a garden that features more than 7,000 rose bushes.

Twin Palms Frank Sinatra Estate

Relive the days of Mad Men by hosting a private affair inside the Sinatra House amidst period furnishings and a piano-shaped swimming pool. Designed in 1947 for Frank Sinatra and his first wife, Nancy, the estate is a stunning example of mid-century architecture. Up to 150 guests can be accommodated for dinner parties outside on the grounds of the estate underneath the stars. Or for smaller groups, you can opt to host your party around the pool or inside in the ‘great room.’
