The Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs, which opened in November 2017, is located just off of North Palm Canyon Drive, where it anchors the downtown Palm Springs redevelopment project. At seven stories high with a rooftop pool, restaurant and bar, the Rowan boasts killer views of the Coachella Valley coupled with modern design. The property includes 153 rooms, two chef-driven restaurants and two bars, as well as a penthouse event space.

Located on the ground level off of the lobby is Juniper Table, featuring Mediterranean-inspired cuisine highlighting seasonal and organic ingredients. The casual but elevated menu is served during breakfast, lunch and dinner, featuring house-made bakery items, fresh juices, a full barista program with Joshua Tree Coffee Co., shareable snacks, salads, sandwiches, pasta entrees and desserts.

The menu is season, including dishes such as Hamachi Crudo with tangerine, yuzu, fennel and dill; Ricotta Cavatelli with smoked lamb, matsutake, chesnut, caraway and puffed rye; and Baja Kampachi with porcini, leek, dill, wild juniper and sorrel. Chef Wambach forages for the wild juniper in the high desert to bring a truly local element to his dish.

Also on the Rowan’s rooftop is High Bar, located adjacent to the pool and serving classic cocktails and small bites. The property’s restaurants and bars are open to both hotel guests and outside parties.
Another highly anticipated new hotel is set to open in February in Palm Desert in the heart of the popular El Paseo shopping and dining district. Hotel Paseo, an Autograph Collection Hotel, is the first boutique hotel in this area of Palm Desert.

For a truly unique experience, guests can reserve the hotel’s vintage 1950s Airstream Trailer as their room. The Airstream, located adjacent to the pool, has been fully restored and features a king size bed, black walnut and stainless steel kitchenette, stainless steel shower and a patio with an awning and wooden Adirondack chairs opening to the backyard lawn.

Hotel Paseo’s much-buzzed-about restaurant, AC3, is a collaboration by three top desert restaurateurs -- Executive Chef Andrew Copley and his wife Juliana of Copley’s on Palm Canyon in Palm Springs, and Tony Marchese of TRIO, also in Palm Springs. AC3 will serve New American cuisine that incorporates eclectic, international influences in classic dishes, as well as handcrafted cocktails, California craft beers and a thoughtfully curated wine selection. The hotel will also feature a poolside cabana bar and a grab-and-go café.
