Greater Palm Springs has become a creative hub for sculptors, painters, photographers, and artists of all mediums to showcase the inspiration they have found within the natural landscape.

Southwest Arts Festival
Now going for its 34th year, the 2020 Southwest Arts Festival will take place January 23 through 26 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. The scenic grounds will feature live music and offer various beverage and food options, while visitors can browse through pottery, glass, and paintings scheduled to be on display.
This year, the Southwest Arts Festival will be accepting 250 of the most accomplished artists from around the world to showcase. This Indio festival is recognized as one of the Top 100 Events in North America by Travel Magazine and has been praised for its wide array of traditional, contemporary, and abstract fine works of art and quality crafts. Art Palm Springs
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Art Palm Springs returns February 13 through the 17 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Art Palm Springs is the premier art fair in the Southwest presenting post-war and contemporary art. The event is a global affair every year, as galleries from Asia, Europe, North and South America participate to culminate to hundreds of artists in Greater Palm Springs.
The Fair takes place over the extended Presidents' Day Weekend and coincides with Palm Springs Modernism Week. Art Palm Springs and Modernism Week turn Greater Palm Springs into a cultural mecca over this weekend, attracting close to 15,000 art lovers to the Fair. Day passes are priced at $25 dollars while a VIP pass is offered for $100, with admission for one to Opening Night and includes return admission throughout the weekend.
The Indian Wells Arts Festival
The 18th Annual Indian Wells Arts Festival will take place April 3-5 at the world-famous Indian Wells Tennis Garden. The Arts Festival is consistently ranked as one of the top "30 Best Fine Art Shows" in the country by publications like Sunshine Artist magazine and Best of the Best Art Festivals by readers of Palm Springs Life magazine. More than 200 artists take part in the event each year, traveling from across the nation and as far as Japan, Africa, Central and South America, and various parts of Europe.
The event also features an artisan village and festive outdoor marketplace with thousands of one-of-a-kind pieces of art for sale, live jazz entertainment, cocktails and food options at open-air pavilion, and hands-on artist demonstrations ranging from textile weaving, painting, and sculpting. Adult tickets are $13, and get you into the Arts Festival all three days, while children 12 and under are admitted for free.
La Quinta Art Celebration
The newest art festival in this line-up is the La Quinta Art Celebration scheduled to take place March 5 through 8 at the City of La Quinta Civic Center Campus. 220 artists, including 14 who reside locally, are expected to occupy the festival grounds—allowing attending to see a wide range of artwork ceramics, digital art, 2D mixed media, 3D mixed media, painting, wood, sculpture, drawing and pastel, fiber, glass and photography.
Rancho Mirage Art Affaire
The 2020 Rancho Mirage Art Affaire will take place on November 14 and 15 at the Rancho Mirage Community Park. This event is free for the public to attend, and is accompanied by a soulful jazz ambiance and an assortment of artistic creations. including paintings, (oil, watercolor, acrylic), drawings, photography, jewelry, sculptures, collages, assemblage, textiles, mixed-mediums, metal and ceramics and select fine craft in a variety of media and price ranges. Approximately 4,000 patrons attend the festival annually. Last year, over 90 juried artists displayed their artwork and crafts for purchase.
