Thanksgiving Day 5Ks

Earn that second helping of turkey bright and early Thanksgiving morning with one of several 5Ks around town. On El Paseo, the annual Thanksgiving Day 5K Benefiting Martha’s Village & Kitchen kicks off at 8 a.m. Races will also be held in La Quinta (La Quinta Turkey Trottin’ on the Trail 5K) and Palm Springs (Running Wild’s Wild Turkey Trot 5K).

Marvel at over a million twinkling lights as a local holiday tradition returns with new features for 2017. Discover the herd of life-size, luminescent animal lanterns, and explore the newly added pathways decorated in holiday lights. And, all of the event’s favorite activities return including the tunnel of lights, visits with Santa, live entertainment, arts and crafts, carousel rides, and more. 

36th Annual Cabazon Indio POWWOW

Discover the culture of the local Cabazon Band of Mission Indians during the 36th Annual Cabazon Indio POWWOW, held at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio. Throughout the weekend, enjoy traditional dancing, bird singing, drum contests and foods like Indian fry bread.

Grooves at The Westin
