It’s the spot everyone is talking about, Ernest Coffee and Bootlegger Tiki! The sexy powerhouse coffee/cocktail business, built in the longtime empty historic Don the Beachcomber building, is buzzing.
Take a peek inside the Palm Springs business, meet one of the owners and it’s guaranteed you’ll want to show up in person to taste all things coffee and Tiki! The original Don the Beachcomber restaurant opened in 1953, the owners of the new space say they are fortunate to inherit an incredible piece of Palm Springs history and want to uphold the tiki traditions that were originally built there - craft cocktails, good friends and a couple of giant tiki torches thrown in for good measure.
Open seven days a week from six am to midnight, Ernest Coffee offers Stumptown Coffee, fresh pastries and quiche baked local every day, including delicious gluten-free options. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer or bubbly and a selection of small plates including cheese and charcuterie from a carefully curated menu at 'Ernest Afterhours' available from 4pm to midnight.
At Bootlegger Tiki the fun begins at 4pm. Enjoy classic tiki cocktails in the intimate back bar. Stop by for a drink and help continue to build upon the decades of tiki rum and fun that started in the same spot all those years ago.
