Since the CVB launched the Safer Together, Greater Together Pledge in early June, over 260 local businesses have committed, with more signing on each day.

The pledge is a cohesive message to help residents and visitors feel secure that hotels, restaurants, attractions and retail shops are upholding the latest standards established by the State of California, Riverside County and their respective industries to ensure the safety of all.

All businesses that take the pledge commit to instituting these core safety practices:

• Perform a detailed risk assessment and implement a site-specific protection plan

• Train employees on how to limit the spread of COVID-19, including how to screen themselves for symptoms and stay home if they have them

• Implement individual control measures and screenings

• Implement disinfecting protocols

• Implement physical distancing guidelines

• Stay informed of the latest best practices and share learned knowledge with your industry partners

Our tourism partners making the pledge also commit to being transparent and sharing their safety protocols and procedures with the consumer. They will recognize their commitment by showing the pledge badge on their websites and with social media posts.
