Mexican singer-songwriter Pedro Fernàndez began his career at age 7 and has gone on to record 39 albums. His first album, La de la Mochila Azul, was released in 1978. His starring role in the film La nina la Mochila Azul (The Girl with the Blue Backpack) was released the following year and led to many memorable on-screen roles. To date, Fernàndez has garnered four Latin Grammy Awards, including Best Regional Song (writer and performer) for “Cachito de Cielo” in 2013.
