Elvis Honeymoon Hideaway - Alexander Estate

Restaurant Week

Wall Street Journal writes, “Greetings from Elvis’s Palm Springs.” Elvis and Priscilla lived here in 1966 and 1967, and Honeymooned here on May 1, 1967. The House of Tomorrow/The Alexander Estate built by the City’s premier Developers of 2,200 Homes, The Great Alexanders. The Estate is the modernism icon, three stories, with not a square room in the four concentric circles. Fodor’s, The Travel Channel, AAA Westways, Conde Nast Traveler, Time Magazine, and Architectural Digest have all featured it worldwide. Enjoy tours with historians and retro guides. It is pure theatre. The Desert Sun says that this is the number one place in Palm Springs to have your picture taken and has the most photographed pool in the Valley. On May 1, 1967 Elvis and Priscilla Presley began their honeymoon at this outstanding midcentury estate and Lisa Marie was born exactly nine months later. The 5,500 square foot estate consists of three stories in four concentric circles and there is not a square room in the home. Daily guided tours 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. are available. Call for reservations. For more information on the estate, tours or special events, call or visit the website.
