HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA:
VGPS will store personal data only as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or for additional periods as required by legal, regulatory, or contractual requirements. We will keep your personal information in accordance with our internal retention policies. We will determine the length of time we keep the information based on the minimum retention periods required by law and/or regulation. We will only keep your personal information longer than this period if there is a legitimate and provable business reason to do so. You have the right to contact us to remove your personal data.
CATEGORY OF PERSONAL INFORMATION/RETENTION PERIOD.
Identifiers (e.g., name, email, phone number) – Retained for as long as the user maintains an active relationship with us, or up to three (3) years after account closure.
Financial Information (e.g., payment data) – Financial information is not retained for regular visitors of our website. Financial information is only collected for “Partners,” restaurants and hotels that participate in our Partner Portal. Partner financial information is retained for the duration of the transaction and as required for tax, audit, or legal purposes (typically) years).
Internet or Network Activity (e.g., cookies) – Retained for up to one (1) year unless extended under a valid business need or legal requirement.
Geolocation Data – Retained for the duration of the session unless explicitly required by services, then up to days. Enabled by those who have it on their phone. We do not sell the information, but we retain it for business purposes.
Sensitive Personal Information (SPI) – Retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill the specified purpose and no longer than 1 year.
SECURE DELETION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION:
When the retention period expires, or when personal information is no longer required, data is securely deleted or destroyed or if deletion is not feasible, personal information is anonymized so it cannot be associated with any individual.
