    Indoor dining is permitted at this time. In the City of Palm Springs, additional safety requirements have been established when dining indoors. You can view those requirements here.

    The other eight communities — including Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio and Coachella — currently do not have additional restrictions.

    The Greater Palm Springs tourism industry is making the pledge to implement the latest safety guidelines developed by the State of California and leading industry associations.   • Are masks required?

    On December 15, 2021 The State of California will require masks to be worn in all indoor public settings irrespective of vaccine status through February 15, 2022. To learn more, click here.

  • Which cities in Greater Palm Springs are there additional COVID-19 safety requirements?

    The City of Palm Springs, one of our destination's nine communities, has established additional COVID-19 safety requirements including wearing a face mask indoors and having proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test for indoor dining in restaurants and bars.
