ABOUT THE WORKSHOP LEADERS
Chief Phillip Whiteman Jr., "Yellow Bird" (Heove'vekeso): Chief Phillip comes from a long line of Chiefs and horse people, caretakers of horse medicine and songs. A two-time INFR World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider and PRCA champion, he is also an old-style grass dancer, traditional storyteller, flute player, and award-winning recording artist. Through Yellow Bird Lifeways Center in Lame Deer, Montana, he supports Indigenous children, youth, and his home community, sharing ancestral teachings that connect horse, human, and spirit.
Pamela Robins: Pamela Robins is the author of "Meditating with Animals," a meditation teacher, sound healer, and Joshua Tree retreat leader whose work invites people to experience a deeper connection with animals, nature, and themselves. Through guided meditation, sound healing, and time spent with horses, she creates meaningful opportunities for reflection, healing, and renewal. Her approach is gentle, grounded, and deeply experiential, helping people reconnect with their inner wisdom and discover new ways of being present in their lives.
