Serving Up Flavor: Culinary Delights

From gourmet dining to fan-favorite concessions, the BNP Paribas Open serves up a world-class culinary experience alongside the action on the courts.

A full menu of signature concessions awaits in Stadiums 1 and 2 and throughout the popular Food Village — but it's some of the fine dining options and locally owned restaurants that add a unique flavor to the tournament.

Looking for an upscale meal in-between matches? In Stadium 1, the Italian-inspired California flavors of Porta Via are back for a second consecutive year, while Stadium 2 presents a trio of standout choices, including Ristorante Mamma Gina, world-class Nobu Indian Wells, and Molé Ingenious Mexican Kitchen.

Local favorites also make a return, including John’s, J’s Deli, Chef Tanya’s Kitchen, and Dragon Lili Café’ + Boba Bar, while La Quinta–based China Jo’s makes its 2025 debut at Stadium 2.

For quick and delicious bites, fan-faves like Sumo Dog and the Detroit-style flavorings of MOTO Pizza are also on hand, and award-winning Puesto is expanding its spices to a trio of on-site locations. Michelin-star winning, L.A.-based Le Burger by Camphor also returns to bun-up on another flavorful tournament.

For those with a sweet tooth, family-owned Palm Desert gelateria La Dolce Piccola will serve up fresh, homemade gelato and baked goods, while Oakberry (new this year) is a must for smoothie and acai bowl lovers. Adding to the mix are fan favorites: Handel’s Handmade Ice Cream and Mrs. Fields Cookies.

Raise a Glass: Where to Sip

Whether you’re toasting with a crisp glass of Champagne or cooling off with a craft cocktail, there’s no shortage of ways to sip and savor at the BNP Paribas Open.

The Circle of Palms Champagne Bar proves ever-bubbly (and has charcuterie and cheese boards if you're feeling extra indulgent), while pours at the Kim Crawford Club (Retail Courtyard) and Le Bar by Camphor (Stadium 1) provide flair and fun. Over in Stadium 2, the Topspin Bar and the Maestro Dobel Tequila Pavillion serve up handcrafted cocktails and other beverages to keep the celebratory spirit alive.

Matches, Stadiums, and Activations

Everything kicks off with the BNP's Qualifying Rounds from March 2-4, with ticket costs of just $10, providing a super opportunity to watch those ever-eager to get into the main draw. The tournament then segues to its Initial Rounds (March 5-6), with match action taking place all day and night across Stadiums 1-9.

Come Friday, March 7, the tournament’s seeded players enter the fray before the heated Second Week of Play brackets into the BNP Round of 16 and, from there, the Quarterfinals. From March 14 until the close of play, Semifinal action and title matches determine the BNP champions.

With matches unfolding across the venue, here’s a quick look at the tournament’s main stadiums:

  • Stadium 1: The Indian Wells Tennis Garden’s 16,100-seat Stadium 1 proves a global cathedral of tennis, with its stellar sight lines and mountain backdrop, earning its recognition as the second-largest outdoor tennis stadium in the world.
  • Stadium 2: Fresh off its 10-year anniversary in 2024, the 8,000-seat stadium offers a more intimate feel, with a cozy lower bowl coupled with awesome food and drink amenities.
  • Stadium 3: For both qualifying and early-round play, the 4,500-seat Stadium 3 presents an up-close look for all fans and an opportunity to truly feel right in the middle of the game action.

Guests aiming for some stroll with their swings will find all manner of activations and spots to sit, sip, and simply enjoying the sunshine. The Indian Wells Tennis Garden’s centrally located (and shaded) Village Stage proves a nexus of fan activity, flatscreen viewing, Tennis Talk stage sessions, and a full lineup of bands. The adjoining Retail Village provides a full court of shopping options for all manner of tennis gear and apparel.

Carlos Alcaraz

Eisenhower Cup and Players

BNP attendees eager to see the event’s biggest stars need not wait until the seeded portion of the bracket gets underway.

For the third consecutive year, the Eisenhower Cup exhibition will see several champions competing in the mixed doubles, winner-take-all $200K event on the Stadium 2 stage. Held on Tuesday, March 4 at 7 p.m., the one-night Tie Break Tens showcase will welcome the likes of Aryna Sabalenka, Taylor Fritz, Madison Keys, Tommy Paul, Casper Ruud, Maria Sakkari, and Alex de Minaur.

Come official tourney play, fans can expect the BNP’s annual array of tennis superstars. Carlos Alcaraz returns to Indian Wells seeking his third consecutive BNP title, aiming to become the first player since five-time BNP champion Novak Djokovic to win three straight in the desert (2014-16).

Seeking his first BNP crown, top-ranked Jannik Sinner returns fresh off his Grand Slam win in the Australian Open, while second-ranked Alexander Zverev (whom Sinner felled in the Aussie finals) will also make his way to Indian Wells. Charting fourth in the world, local favorite Taylor Fritz is back in the BNP, aiming to add to his mantle after capturing the title in 2022.

On the women’s side of the draw, Keys will seek to key-in her stellar play following an Australian Open win, while top-ranked Sabalenka aims for her inaugural BNP title. Two-time and defending BNP champion Iga Swiatek also returns to Indian Wells, seeking to become the first women’s repeat titlist at the tournament since Martina Navratilova in 1990-91.
