Serving neighbors by responding to their needs with food, clothing, shelter and an opportunity to become self-sufficient by affirming their dignity with love, compassion and respect.
Project Availability: Projects are available throughout the year.
Number of Participants: Fewer than 50. Depends on charity event. Fill The Bus can have 15 volunteers per bus and annual 5k can go up to 40.
Duration of Project: Depending on event can be a few hours to multiple.
Service Opportunities: Project or activity, collecting goods, financial donations.
Indoor/Outdoor Detail: Some events held indoors but some such as 5k runs are outdoors.
Volunteer Responsibilities: Serve a meal, play with kids, maintenance tasks, teach a class, greet guests, organize merchandise, help staff assemble canned/ dry goods baskets for impoverished families in the community, maintain and organize the food pantry and provide basic client services and referrals.

Option to Move Project to a Different Location: Facility has annual 5k runs and Fill The Bus that goes around the valley filling buses with canned goods.
