Palm Springs Power Baseball

The main goal of the POWER organization is to offer inexpensive family entertainment to residents and visitors of the Coachella Valley while providing a place for elite college athletes to display their skills for fans and professional scouts on a nightly basis. The POWER is a summer collegiate team that is made up of college players from around the country, including, but not limited to USC, Washington, Oregon State, Iowa, Michigan and many more! Palm Springs Stadium has the largest misting system in the Coachella Valley, so if you are looking for a place to cool down in the summer while watching quality baseball, then Palm Springs POWER is for you. The POWER season takes place from June through July and we look forward to seeing you out at the park!

While the POWER is taking the field of Palm Springs Stadium by night, the Palm Springs Collegiate League sets the tone of the day during the summer mornings. The primary focus of the Palm Springs Collegiate League is player development and advancement. Since 2018, the PSCL has had hundreds of college commitments as well as several MLB draft picks come through its collegiate summer league doors. The PSCL provides a professional quality experience, which includes resort living, gym access, and a ballpark that served as an MLB spring training facility. The PSCL is staffed with current collegiate coaches of all levels, MLB scouts and professional staff, that work together to assure every PSCL player gets the most of their experience.

During the winter, baseball in Palm Springs takes a professional form in The California Winter League. The CWL is a professional baseball showcase league where professional free agents come from around the globe to play in front of Major League scouts and professional coaches and instructors in hopes of being signed to a contract. Around 50% of players who participate in the California Winter League are offered a professional contract upon completion of the season. The CWL is the premier winter baseball league in the nation, having more players invited and signed to professional spring training contracts than any other western United States based team. We offer professional, highly competitive baseball for the whole family, with entertainment for families and kids of all ages.
