Legend Course, formally Palm Springs Municipal Golf Course, was designed in 1957 originally with nine holes, and the back nine was added shortly later in 1959. Arnold Palmer Golf Management added 40 bunkers in 1996 to enhance the character and challenge of the traditional layout of just over 6,800 yards. Currently the Legend has four sets of tees for various handicaps and can play as short as 5,800 yards. The course meanders through several different neighborhoods most as old as the Legend Course itself. Many trees along the fairway are over 50 years old. Four holes on the Legend Course play across or through the Palm Canyon Wash. Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort is also the perfect place to host your next golf outing.
