Coachella Valley History Museum

Stroll through the Coachella Valley History Museum in Indio and there are whispers of the past everywhere. The adobe structure was built in 1926 by Dr. Harry W. Smiley and his wife and served both as their home and medical practice. The museum is filled with unique artifacts from farm equipment, and a water tower, to the original 1909 Indio Schoolhouse.
