October 25, 2017 – Condé Nast Traveler recently announced the results of its 30th annual Readers’ Choice Awards with five Greater Palm Springs properties recognized.

L’Horizon Palm Springs Resort & Spa took multiple honors:  #1 Top Resort in Southern California, #2 The 10 Best Resorts in the U.S. and #8 The Best Resorts in the World.

Steve Hermann, the L.A.–based residential designer, has spent the past two years turning the historic William F. Cody–designed L’Horizon into a luxurious boutique hotel. The main house and 25 bungalows were built in 1952 as a vacation spot for Hollywood producer Jack Wrather (Lassie; The Lone Ranger). L’Horizon retains much of its original style, but the alfresco restaurant, attention to service and 2015 interior renovations add a modern twist.

Other Greater Palm Springs properties garnering honors include:

Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa #9 Top Resorts in Southern California

Recently renovated, Miramonte Indian Wells Resort & Spa, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, offers guests a true luxury spa resort experience found nowhere else. Bright bougainvillea, fragrant citrus trees and the Santa Rosa Mountains set the stage for the most unique resort experiences in the Palm Springs area.

Two Bunch Palms Spa Resort #16 Top Resorts in Southern California

Nestled within 77 lush park-like acres is the legendary Two Bunch Palms, a hot mineral springs spa resort that offers healing waters, gourmet farm-to-table cuisine, movement and enrichment classes and an award winning spa. Guests discover healing waters that have been flowing for over 600 years.

Parker Palm Springs  #18 Top Resorts in Southern California

Imagine a desert estate that is Happy Chic and where you receive five-star service, no attitude. The resort features 13 acres of fabulous grounds, as well as the renowned Palm Springs Yacht Club that is about the good life with treatments that are second to none.

The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage #19 Top Resorts in Southern California

From high atop a bluff where the eye can see as far as the imagination will allow, The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage rekindles the spirit of one of Palm Springs’ premier luxury hotels with a bold transformation that still embraces the desert resort’s enduring modern elegance.
