(Greater Palm Springs, CA) – June 16, 2018 – The Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau earned a 2018 Emmy for their original series, “Wander List.”
The series received a total of three 2018 Emmy Nominations for writing, editing and historical cultural reporting. Recognized by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter, the Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau took home an award for the Cocktail Culture segment, in the Editor (No Time Limit) News Category.
Recognizing journalists for excellence in the field, the Pacific Southwest Chapter serves television professionals in San Diego, Las Vegas, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Palm Springs, Bakersfield and Santa Maria.
The series segments aired each week on KMIR TV on the new station’s 4:30PM newscast. Each episode takes viewers on a whimsical journey, tailor-made for dreamers and adventurers.
“Wander List” inspires travelers to go further than a map will take them in search of the unique and off-the-beaten-path hidden gems that make Greater Palm Springs unique. The travel series features a trio of locally born and raised talent: Videographer and editor Ian Hughes; director Brian La Belle of Summerland Creative; and Emmy Award-winning journalist Anndee Laskoe, who produces, writes and hosts the series.
