Visit Greater Palm Springs (Visit GPS) is pleased to announce Kimber Foster as Director of Palm Springs Tourism.

As Director of Palm Springs Tourism, Foster will work closely with the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism to drive awareness of and increase visitation to the city.  She will lead the development and implementation of the City of Palm Springs Strategic Marketing Plan and work together with the Visit Greater Palm Springs marketing and destination teams and stakeholders to promote visitation to the City of Palm Springs through marketing and public relations efforts and programs.

Foster brings 20 years of nonprofit, agency and DMO marketing/communications experience to this role. She comes to us from Grapevine, Texas, where she served as Director of Marketing & Communications for the Grapevine Convention & Visitors Bureau for the past 5 years. During her tenure there, Foster developed and implemented strategies to promote the City of Grapevine, with a focus on leisure travel, convention groups and high-profile festivals and special events. Prior to Grapevine, Foster was at Destination El Paso as Marketing & Communications Manager, where she led successful branding and communications campaigns as well as promotions for four performing arts venues.

Foster holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication/Public Relations from the University of Texas, El Paso. When not working, you will find her hanging out with her Schnoodle, Ludivine; watching French films; testing out new recipes; practicing yoga and Pilates; or exploring vintage shops. A wine lover, Foster is a certified wine ambassador for South Australia’s Barossa Valley.
