Rancho Mirage, CA - - Visit Greater Palm Springs is pleased to announce the hiring of Rich Ainsworth as Small Meetings Manager.

 

In this newly created position, Ainsworth will focus on handling small meetings that are 25 rooms per night or less. Ainsworth will work closely with sales managers and directors to assist existing clients with their meetings as well as handling new customer inquiries.

 

Ainsworth joins the team after a 16-year career at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa, where for 9 years he specialized in small groups.

 

“I am excited to join the team at Visit Greater Palm Springs,” said Ainsworth. “I look forward to showcasing the wide range of unique options for small meetings and groups throughout our meeting oasis.”

 

Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, Ainsworth graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Graphic Design. He resides in Palm Desert with his wife Julia. When not working, Ainsworth loves spending time with family and connecting with the local community. He has volunteered as a youth soccer coach for more than seven years.
