Greater Palm Springs, CA (October 3, 2017) — The Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Sharon Goodspeed as the new National Sales Manager, Northeast Region for Convention Sales. Most recently, Goodspeed served as the National Sales Manager for Caesars Entertainment Corporation where she represented 13 major properties in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.  During her tenure, she received several honors for client satisfaction and customer loyalty.

Goodspeed brings impressive knowledge of the Northeast meetings industry with a background that includes nearly 20 years with Marriott International. Her positions included serving as the Senior Sales Manager for the 1,400-room Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. She is also an active member of the Professional Convention Management Association and Meeting Professionals International.

Goodspeed will be based in the Philadelphia area and will start her new role with the CVB on Monday, October 9.
