Visit Greater Palm Springs Welcomes New Seasonal American Airlines Service from Charlotte

Greater Palm Springs, CA (August 19, 2025) — Visit Greater Palm Springs is excited to announce that American Airlines will launch a new seasonal nonstop flight between Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) and Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), providing enhanced connectivity between the East Coast and Southern California’s ultimate desert oasis.

The new route will operate once weekly on Saturdays, beginning December 20, 2025, and continuing through April 18, 2026, for a total of 18 flights in each direction (36 total). The service will be operated on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, offering 16 First Class and 156 Main Cabin seats.

Flight Schedule (Saturdays, Dec. 20, 2025 – Apr. 18, 2026):

  • CLT → PSP: Departs 9:25 a.m., arrives 11:25 a.m.
  • PSP → CLT: Departs 12:15 p.m., arrives 7:45 p.m.
