(Greater Palm Springs, CA) - June 1, 2018 - Wheel of Fortune has doubled up with Tennis Channel to serve viewers with "Tennis Week," airing June 4 – June 8, 2018.
Tennis Channel provided the featured prizes on the Wheel, which include luxury vacation packages surrounding upcoming major tennis tournaments around the world: the French Open in Paris, the WTA Finals in Singapore, the US Open in New York, the Nitto ATP World Tour Finals in London, and the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, CA. The network also supplied Indian Wells tournament footage for the program.
During the week, some of the world's top tennis players including Roger Federer, Jo Wilfred Tsonga, Coco Vandeweghe, Alexander Zverev, Jack Sock, John Isner, Simona Halep, Eugenie Bouchard, and Ryan Harrison will be featured in show opening segments, bumper segments, closing packages, and prize packages.
Also, as part of "Tennis Week," Pat Sajak and Vanna White were invited to the BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells, Calif., to tape some segments for the five shows, including some time on the court with the most successful men's doubles team of all time, the Bryan Brothers. They were also visited by Tennis star and Southern California native, Steve Johnson.
