Adam is a dynamic 23-year-old Sudanese-American journalist and self-taught visual artist. A recent graduate of George Washington University, she earned a double major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, as well as Creative Writing and English. Her art, imbued with narrative and love, has been featured in over ten notable magazines, including MARIE CLAIRE ARABIA, ESSENCE, GRAZIA, Blavity, AnOther, Re. With over five years of editorial experience, Adam is dedicated to amplifying the underrepresented voices of the African diaspora, with a particular focus on highlighting Black Muslim women and Sudanese communities. Her recent endeavors involve traveling to connect directly with community members and leaders, serving as a conduit to bring their stories to a broader audience.
