A traditional margarita is the perfect refreshing beverage to enjoy in the oasis. Start your margarita tour by visiting these Las Casuelas restaurant locations. The Original Las Casuelas in Palm Springs was established by the Delgado family in 1958. There are now multiple locations including downtown Palm Springs (Las Casuelas Terraza) and Rancho Mirage (Las Casuelas Nuevas) as well as Casuelas Cafe in Palm Desert. All have great patios for sipping margaritas in the sunshine!

El Mirasol

You can get a great margarita at the two locations of El Mirasol (one on the south side of Palm Springs and one on the north side at Los Arboles Hotel). In particular, the patio at the Los Arboles location, which has lush fruit trees around the perimeter has a great vibe.

The Margarita Flight at Tac/Quila in Palm Springs is a must-try. It features mini sizes of their four specialty margaritas: kiwi mint, pineapple, watermelon and blackberry. The kiwi mint is a standout, made with blanco tequila, fresh kiwi juice, fresh lime juice, Cointreau and house-made kiwi agave.

Azúcar at La Serena Villas

One of the most popular offerings in Azúcar at La Serena Villas hotel is their Blood Orange Margarita, made with tequila reposado, blood orange purée, fresh lime and agave nectar, with a ground chili rim. It’s so good, and even better when you sip one on the Sugar High rooftop deck, which has amazing views of the San Jacinto mountains.

Seymour’s

Seymour’s is a great spot in Palm Springs for innovative cocktail concepts in a dark and sexy setting. For a riff on the margarita, try the Big Trouble in Little TJ, made with Ilegal Mezcal, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, muddled cilantro and black and white peppercorns.

El Jefe at The Saguaro Palm Springs
