Proceeds of Song Downloads Benefit Cities’ Hospitality Workforce Relief Fund
(RANCHO MIRAGE, CA, May 7, 2020) — Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau has released a reimagining of their original song “Find Your Oasis.” The fresh take on the song debuts with a new music video that is a celebration of the community’s musical, visual and movement artists, as well as the stunning desert landscape that attracts visitors from all over the world. The song’s public debut on Friday, May 8 serves as the culmination of the destination’s roster of events for U.S. Travel Association’s National Travel & Tourism Week.

“‘Find Your Oasis’ marks the intersection between music and travel, both of which bring people together and provide an escape during these challenging times,” said Scott White, president and CEO of the Greater Palm Springs Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Greater Palm Springs is home to some of the most brilliant desert landscapes in the world, and the very timely lyrics of the song celebrate those wide-open spaces that travelers will be looking for.”
Drawing upon the inspiration of the region’s natural allure, the music video for “Find Your Oasis” was designed to create an experience for that inspires listeners to visit the desert, famed for its beauty, spirit and abundance of outdoor activities. The project brought together a stellar roster of local artists—including vocalists, bands, pop artists, visual artists, muralists, a cellist, a tap dancer and a poet—who convey unbridled affection for the destination through their soulful performances. Iconic locations throughout the valley also are celebrated in the video. Viewers will recognize the Empire Polo Club, Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, Joshua Tree National Park and a variety of local hotels, resorts and public art pieces.
