NATIONAL TRAVEL AND TOURISM WEEK: MAY 1-7, 2022
National Travel and Tourism Week (NTTW) is an annual tradition that spotlights the collective strength of the U.S. travel industry. This year, NTTW recognizes the #FutureOfTravel and the industry’s important role in bringing back our vibrant communities, serving as a local and global economic driver, rebuilding our workforce, and reconnecting America.
Prior to the pandemic, tourism supported over 53,000 jobs in Greater Palm Springs and contributed $7.5 billion to the local economy. While we’ve faced extraordinary challenges, National Travel and Tourism Week is an opportunity to turn the page to a new chapter.
To celebrate, we’re hosting an Open House at the Visit Greater Palm Springs office in Rancho Mirage on Wednesday, May 4. We look forward to coming together with our partners and the tourism community to reconnect, give-back to those in need, and look ahead to the #FutureOfTravel in Greater Palm Springs.
