Born and raised in Northeast Ohio, Drew Filipski (he/him/his) has lived and worked in both New York City and Los Angeles, but now resides in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. Currently a student at Ohio University majoring in Journalism as part of the Carr Van Anda Program (B.S.J.), he is also a freelance writer and journalist with a passion for music journalism, travel experiences, queer-centered narratives, LGBTQ+ issues, and uplifting marginalized voices. His work has appeared in Signal Tribune, The Buckeye Flame, Queerty and INTO. Drew was selected as a mentee for the inaugural Visit Greater Palm Springs Meet the Mentors program.
