January 2021 TBA

With year-round sunny skies and more than 110 courses for players of all skill levels, it’s no wonder Greater Palm Springs is known as the Golf Capital of the West. Each January, four days of world-class golf descend on this Southern California resort oasis for the annual American Express tournament, a favorite stop on the PGA Tour. Formerly known as the Desert Classic and the CareerBuilder Challenge, the event now carries the name of its new title sponsor and will unfold across three storied Greater Palm Springs courses: the Stadium and Nicklaus Tournament courses at PGA WEST and La Quinta Country Club.

In recent years, the tournament has offered ticketholders more than sideline spectating, with on-site food and drink experiences and even live concerts on the driving range after the final round. (Check out the full schedule of events and brush up on spectator etiquette before heading to the greens). And with several restaurants and luxury hotels and resorts nearby, there are plenty of places to rest and unwind after a full day of play.

Thank you for attending the 2020 American Express Tournament! Check back for updates on the 2021 tournament!
