Be an Icon: Celebrate Marilyn Monroe’s 100th in Palm Springs

Palm Springs has long been a playground for Old Hollywood’s brightest stars—and Marilyn Monroe was no exception. Today, that Hollywood legacy lives on in the city’s midcentury modern design, iconic poolside scenes, and the larger-than-life Forever Marilyn statue anchoring downtown.

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, that story comes full circle with Marilyn 100, a one-day celebration honoring what would have been Marilyn Monroe’s 100th birthday — and a chance to be part of a record-setting moment in the heart of downtown Palm Springs. 

The festivities begin at 3 p.m. with live entertainment, delicious food vendors, and outdoor beverage lounges. From 4:30 to 6 p.m., the energy builds as we attempt to earn the World Record title for the largest gathering of Marilyn Monroe look-alikes ever seen. And then as the sun sets, the birthday bash continues with a live band, DJ sets, and a special guest performance.
