Halloween Bash to Honor BB Ingle | The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa

When: October 29 | 8 p.m. to midnight 

Grab your best costume and get ready to Sip, Swoop, Swing and Sway at the grand opening of Backyard at the Westin while paying tribute to the one and only BB Ingle, honoring his tradition of throwing amazing holiday parties. Enjoy music in the large outdoor concert area, surrounded by indoors bars and lounges, and make sure to not miss out on the bowing experience! Proceeds will benefit Desert Cancer Foundation. Gather at the Gardens | The Gardens on El Paseo 

When: October 30 | 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Fall favorites, contests and activities will be available for the whole family! Enjoy an afternoon of rock climbing, pumpkin painting and costume contests for pets, adults and kids (with prizes of course)! Ticket packages will be sold at the event and through Event Brite with proceeds benefitting Family YMCA of the Desert.

 

Indio Halloween Carnival | Indio Community Park 

When: October 30 | 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

Put your costume on and have fun when you attend best Halloween carnival in Indio, yet. You can find fun activities from games and inflatables to a petting zoo and face paintings – and, of course, the candy! Participate in costume contests and make sure to bring a bag to hold all the candy you will receive. Admission is $5 per person. 

 

Ghost & Goblins Pickleball Tournament | Mission Hills Country Club

When: October 30-31 | starting at 8 a.m. each day 

What a better way to celebrate the Halloween weekend that with a match of pickleball? Head over to the Mission Hills Country Club's newly-upgraded pickleball facility and sign-up for the tournament. Halloween Themed Chili Cook-Off & Car Show | Palm Springs Air Museum

Día de Los Muertos Events 

 

Community Altar at Sunnylands | Sunnylands

When: November 3 to 7 | 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Honor those who are no longer here by visiting the Community Altar by Palm Springs Art Museum that will be on display at Sunnylands. Write the name of your loved one or bring a note to leave in the message box. This altar also celebrates the life and legacy of artists Hung Lui and Manuel Felguérez. Dia de los Muertos Celebration during Free Thursday Night | Palm Springs Art Museum

When: November 4 | 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

Celebrate Dia de Los Muertos at the Palm Springs Art Museum by viewing altars created by local students and take a self-guided tour to view Latinx artists showcasing art featuring their heritage. There will also be free activity kits and program shirts available for purchase. 

 

Run with Los Muertos 5k & Block Party | Old Town Coachella

When: November 6 | 5:00 p.m. to midnight 

Celebrate Dia de los Muertos in the heart of Old Town Coachella Valley with an epic block party featuring live music, an art show, a beer garden and more. Join in with hundreds of runners and thousands of spectators for the 5k run, where many run in honor of a loved one. Admission is free.
