Fun Fact
In 1994, SunLine Transit Agency (the public transportation agency for Greater Palm Springs) was the first transit agency in the United States to convert their entire fleet of vehicles to CNG power, sending the agency on the road towards zero-emissions. Since then, SunLine has been transitioning its fleet to hydrogen fuel cells and is scheduled to have an entirely zero-emissions fleet by 2032! This is just one example of how Greater Palm Springs is positioning itself at the forefront of the clean energy and tech industries in a vibrant, growth-oriented environment.
