LGBTQ+ EVENTS

Greater Palm Springs is an oasis for the LGBTQ+ community, offering a year-round calendar of LGBTQ+ events and experiences that celebrate diversity. From film festivals to drag shows, you’ll find plenty of ways to let your rainbow flag fly.

Palm Springs Drag Shows

Palm Springs knows how to do brunch, and nobody does it better in the oasis than Rio Azul Mexican Bar & Grill. Join them every Sunday at 11 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. for a Desert Divas Drag Brunch, a wildly fun and entertaining blend of breakfast food and Broadway music. Not an early riser? Groove to the music at Oscar Café & Bar’s “Tea Dance,” an LGBTQ+-friendly disco held every Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., or put on your best party dress for Copa’s Thursday-night “Lipstick” drag show with the fabulous Bella da Ball

Annual LGBTQ+ Events in Palm Springs

Book your gaycation to Greater Palm Springs around one of our many annual LGBTQ+ events. Greater Palm Springs Pride, held each November in downtown Palm Springs, is one of the largest LGBTQ+ celebrations in the region. The streets explode with color, block parties, food booths, and even a parade. Cathedral City celebrates with its own fair share of pride festivities during the city’s annual LGBTQ+ Days, including a “bed race,” bartender battles, and drag shows. And Cinema Diverse, an LGBTQ+ film festival that showcases the best in gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender film, is a must for movie lovers.
