Pool Floatie Persona: This summer campaign ran on Expedia's Vrbo platform, inviting visitors to choose their summer "pool floatie persona" and matching them with experiences and GPSTBID homes. The campaign generated over $17.5 million in bookings for GPSTBID properties.
- California LIVE: California Live television segment with host & influencer Dawn McCoy ran on NBC stations in the drive markets promoting vacation rentals. Segments ran in April on NBC in LA, San Francisco, San Diego. Over 1.5M impressions generated for GPSTBID properties.
- Undertone: This was a digital marketing campaign on a rich media platform that serves full-page drop-down advertising units (“page grabbers”) across targeted sites, allowing users to interact within the unit and view content. This vacation rental dedicated program highlighted places to stay, activities, and vacation rental pools for the summer season. Campaign was live in May & June and generated over 4.3M impressions and over 72K clicks to our website highlighting GPSTBID properties.
- Social Media Content: VGPS regularly highlights GPSTBID properties in it's social media content and works with influencers to include GPSTBID properties on their social channels.
5-Star Hosting Essentials Webinars
VGPS provides host education for GPSTBID properties, including guest communication templates and strategies for communicating important short-term rental rules and regulations while still providing an exceptional visitor experience and earning 5-star guest reviews.
One Coachella Valley
This local advocacy campaign aims to improve the perception of short-term rentals among residents by sharing the positive quality of life benefits and economic impacts of short-term rental visitors. The campaign includes digital, connected TV, social, and community event sponsorships.

VRBO Campaign
A custom landing page supported by digital ads has run on VRBO's platform for the past two years. In addition to driving bookings year-round, Visit Greater Palm Springs also deployed a custom summer "pool floatie" campaign in 2023 that generated $17.5M in gross bookings to the destination. We look forward to launching another successful summer campaign with VRBO in 2024. Visit Greater Palm Springs runs similar ads on Expedia, VRBO's parent platform. Both GPSTBID hotels and vacation rentals listed on Expedia benefit from the campaign.

AIRBNB - Live And Work Anywhere
Visit Greater Palm Springs worked with Airbnb to be included as one of only 20 worldwide destinations in their Live and Work Anywhere campaign, launching a hub to help remote workers find listings and explore all Greater Palm Springs has to offer. The campaign launch included press mentions:
- Phocuswire: Airbnb partners with 20 destinations for new “Live and Work Anywhere” initiative
- Cheddar News: Broadcast clip
- Trip Savvy: The 20 Best Destinations to Live and Work Remotely, According to Airbnb
- Kumparan Travel: Airbnb Offers Easy Work From Anywhere from 20 Destinations in the World
And promotion on Airbnb's LinkedIn channel:
- Airbnb's LinkedIn post had 220,000 impressions, 11,000 engagements, and 8,000 clicks to the newsroom post
- Airbnb's paid LinkedIn had 1.2M impressions, 600,000 people reached, 2,600 clicks to the newsroom post and 3,000 total engagements
