The TEAM GPS Foundation believes that the backbone of our thriving regional economy starts with strong leaders, developed right here in the Coachella Valley. In partnership with College of the Desert's PaCE program, we are proud to offer scholarships for two distinct leadership development programs that reflect our commitment to investing in our workforce and building a local talent pipeline that serves our community for years to come. We know that great leaders aren't built overnight, and that meaningful growth happens at every stage of a career. That's why we've created pathways for professionals at every level, from those stepping into their first supervisory role to seasoned executives shaping the future of their organizations. Leadership Essentials Certificate Program
For emerging leaders ready to take the next step in their careers
This 7-course training program equips hospitality and tourism professionals with the skills needed to grow into confident, effective leaders, coursework includes: employee engagement, leadership essentials, authentic leadership, emotional intelligence, values and ethics, project management, and challenges of leadership.

Who should apply
Supervisors and managers or those who are new to supervisory positions or demonstrate strong potential for career advancement.
Applications must be completed by a supervisor, business manager, or owner.
Visionary Leadership Certificate Program
For senior leaders shaping the future of their organizations
This advanced executive development program is designed for experienced leaders responsible for driving organizational culture, innovation, and long-term success. Participants engage in five day-long immersive modules: strategic self-leadership, visionary leadership in action, leading through communication, leading high-performing teams, and the future-ready leader.
Who should apply
Directors, Executives, Business Owners, and senior-level professionals in the Greater Palm Springs area.
Applicants may self-nominate or be endorsed by an executive sponsor or organizational leader.
How scholarships are awarded
Scholarships for both programs are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to the most qualified candidates. Employers will be contacted to verify eligibility. Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, you will be contacted by PaCE program staff with further information on enrollment.
