Families traveling with autistic individuals looking to make memories represent a large, growing segment of the travel market, spending more than $262 billion on autism-related services each year in the U.S. Greater Palm Springs is proud to be recognized as a Certified Autism Destination™ (CAD) by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES). This designation reflects our region’s ongoing commitment to accessibility and inclusion, ensuring that individuals with autism and sensory sensitivities feel welcomed and supported throughout their journey.

Autism Certification Grant

Grants for local tourism businesses are now available to help offset the cost of certification. The grant provides $2,500 to hospitality related businesses that commit to becoming Certified Autism Centers through the IBCCES and is available when a business seeks recertification, which is required every two years.
