The Pace Report provides strategic data for benchmarking and measuring performance, pace, and peer set metrics nationally and regionally. This helps track group booking numbers to assist in identifying, understanding, and capitalizing on trends. 

YTD PRODUCTION AS OF END OF FEBRUARY

Booking pace: The VGPS team is currently tracking 233,895 room nights on the books, compared to 241,018 room nights same time last year (STLY) and 215,011 room nights same time two years ago (ST2Y).

Focus for 2026 remains on July and December, which are currently behind pace. Added efforts and focus are on driving business into these months. 

LOOKING AHEAD

Group pace for Greater Palm Springs continues to be closely monitored across future years, with targeted efforts focused on driving performance in need periods.

2027: We are currently tracking 117,084 room nights on the books, compared to 114,830 room nights same time last year (STLY) and 130,582 room nights same time two years ago (ST2Y). While pacing 2% ahead of last year, we are 10% behind 2023 levels. Focus will remain on Q3 and Q4, which are the periods currently behind pace.

2028: We are currently tracking 66,024 room nights on the books, compared to 60,448 room nights same time last year (STLY) and 54,360 room nights same time two years ago (ST2Y). This reflects performance 9% ahead of last year and 21% ahead of 2023 levels.

Top-Producing Segments: Trade & Commercial, Health & Medical, and Manufacturing & Distribution  

Top Regions by End-User: The strongest geographic markets for definite room nights are Northeast, Northern California, and Southeast.
