STAGECOACH COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL
POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
The Riverside County Public Health Department has issued an order canceling the April 2021 Stagecoach Country Music Festival. For more information, please read the full order here.
Thousands of country music fans dust off their cowboy boots and hats for the Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Greater Palm Springs. Held the weekend after Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival’s last hurrah, the event features three days of western fun, from dance halls and vintage shopping markets to the concerts themselves (Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney and Shania Twain are just a few of the stars who have headlined the festival). And what sets Stagecoach apart is how family-friendly it is; in past years, a children’s zone featuring games, face painting, dancing and more has welcomed kids of all ages.
Though there are plenty of activities and food booths on the grounds (including some amazing barbecue), many festivalgoers enjoy discovering Greater Palm Springs beyond Stagecoach. Popular attractions and things to do—with cowboy culture in mind—include horseback riding through canyon and mountain terrain; dancing the night away at Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace, a legendary saloon where the likes of Paul McCartney have once played; and explore the local culinary scene at hot spots such as Tack Room Tavern and Jackalope Ranch.
